I'll post some close ups in a little bit. The color is a little strange but hey 
It coulda been worse 
Anyways, this was my first assignment for 2d comp. The objective was to repeat an object different sizes and perspectives. I added a little of me to it...ok, alot of me I hope you like it anyway. This is done using black charcoal for the bottom of the crystals, the border and the back, white charcoal for the cracks on the bottom left and the light rays on top, the rest is B pencils (HB, 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B)
I tried to make it tell a little bit of a story but if you don't get it, it's fine.
This was supposed to be so very different but I got very sick and when I went back I had to finish it that day. Rushing makes my paper cry

I suppose that the lightning bolt line was the repeated motif.
